PHOTO CONTEST CELEBRATING YOUR LOCAL PARK
Did you know July is Parks
Make Life Better!® month?
We want you to show us how the parks in Rosemead impact your community. Submit
a digital photo of your local park along with a sentence of how your park makes
life better. Winners will receive a special goodie bag and will be highlighted
in the fall Parks and Recreation Guide.
Contest Rules:
1. Winners will be picked in
the following age categories: 10 & under, 11-15 years old and 16 and older
2. Criteria- Photos will be judge in the following areas:
a)
Composition - the way the various elements in a scene are arranged within
the frame.
b)
Originality- capturing a photo in an innovative and unique way
c) Story Telling–photo evokes the
viewer’s imagination and tells a story about their subject matter
3. One entry per person.
4. Each entry should contain the following information:
a) Title of
photograph
b)
Name of photographer (first and last)
c) Age
Category (10 & under, 11-15 years old or 16 and older)
d) Date and
location of photograph
e)
A 1-sentence description of the photograph
5. Submit entries to Jennifer

by July 29th.
6. All participants must
follow social distancing guidelines while taking photographs.
