4th of July Parade and Celebration

4th of July Event

Event Details:
Start your day with a parade followed by a day of fun activities, rides and attractions, food and craft vendors, live entertainment and end the night with a spectacular firework show! The 4th of July Parade and Celebration, held on Thursday, July 4, 2024, offers a day filled with family fun. Participants can  pre-purchase wristbands for unlimited rides prior to the event for $12.00 and save $3.00 ($15.00 the day of event).

Wristbands go on sale May 20 and can be purchased through July 3 at the following locations:
  • Garvey Center, 9108 Garvey Avenue
  • Rosemead Community Recreation Center, 3936 N. Muscatel Avenue

Parade Information:
The parade begins at 10:00 am at Valley Boulevard and Muscatel Avenue. It will then travel East to Loma Avenue and North to Rosemead Park.

Carnival Information:
The carnival and park activities will be held at Rosemead Park- 4343 Encinita Avenue and begin at 12:00 pm and end at 10:00 pm. Please see below for a schedule of events:

12:00 - 10:00 pm: Carnival
1:00 - 4:00 pm: Free Swim Aquatic Center 
1:00 - 4:00 pm: Family Games 
2:00 - 3:00 pm: Community Performers
4:00 pm: Patrotic Dog Costume Contest (bring your furry friend and dress them in their best 4th of July attire!)
5:00 pm: Opening Ceremonies
6:00 - 8:00 pm: Suave (Band)
Dusk: Fireworks Show
