CITY OF ROSEMEAD’S BELOVED 4TH OF JULY GRAND CELEBRATION
RETURNS IN 2022 WITH A PARADE, CARNIVAL, AND FIREWORKS DISPLAY
The City of Rosemead is proud to announce the return of the 4th of July Parade and Celebration to be held on Monday, July 4, 2022. The day will be full of family-friendly activities and entertainment starting with a parade themed, “American, Together We Stand.” The parade will begin at 10:00 a.m. along Valley Boulevard, between Muscatel Avenue and Loma Avenue, and head north to end at Rosemead Park- 4343 Encinita Avenue, Rosemead, CA.
TRAFFIC CLOSURES
Monday, July 4th from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the following locations:
- Valley Blvd. between Walnut Grove Ave. and Rio Hondo Ave.
- All lanes on Mission Dr. from Rosemead Blvd. to Rio Hondo Ave.
- Bartlett Ave. between Valley Blvd. and Scott St.
- Gernert Ave. between Valley Blvd. and Steel St.
- Muscatel Ave. and Scott St.
- Ivar Ave. and Valley Blvd.
- Hart Ave. and Valley Blvd.
- Encinita Ave. and Mission Dr.
- Bentel Ave. and Rosemead Blvd.
- Newby Ave. and Rosemead Blvd.
- Rose St. between Encinita and Arica Ave.
Please expect delays and use alternate routes.
The family fun continues at Rosemead Park from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with activities, rides and attractions, live entertainment, and a spectacular firework display. There will be many delicious food selections from a variety of vendors which include: tacos, bacon wrapped hotdogs, steak fries, pupusas, snow cones, kettle corn, churros, cotton candy, funnel cakes, aguas frescas, and much more! All-day use wristbands for the carnival rides can be purchased from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for $15 each. Presale of the wristbands will begin on June 6 through July 3 and can be purchased for $12 at the following locations: Garvey Community Center - 9108 Garvey Avenue, Rosemead, CA, and Rosemead Community Center - 3936 N. Muscatel Avenue, Rosemead, CA.
