JOIN US FOR THE COMMUNITY AREA WATCH MEETING ON OCTOBER 18TH
TO DISCUSS CRIME PREVENTION, COMMUNITY BEAUTIFICATION AND EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS.
The City of Rosemead’s next Community Area Watch program is scheduled for Thursday, October 18th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Janson Elementary School Cafeteria, 8628 E. Marshall Street, Rosemead.
To best serve residents, the City has been divided into nine (9) community areas with a meeting being hosted in each area once during the calendar year. The October 18th meeting serves Area 3 (For residents North of the I-10 Freeway bound by Rosemead Boulevard, Valley Boulevard, and Charlotte Avenue). The purpose of the Community Area Watch meeting is to:
• Educate the community;
• Provide crime statistics and crime trends in the community;
• Share information on personal safety, securing your property, and to help prevent you from becoming victim to a vehicle or home burglary;
• Discuss the importance of Emergency Preparedness and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and much more.
Dinner and raffle prizes will be provided for participants. The City of Rosemead Public Safety Department strives to make Rosemead a safer place to live, work, shop and recreate. You can help! Area Watch Meetings will resume in 2019 with all new presentations.
