Community Garden
The temporary Community Garden is well underway. We are getting ready to launch our lottery for the upcoming 30 plots. We are encouraging all residents to call Jennifer Pineda at (626) 569-2162 or email [email protected] with their request to be entered into the garden plot lottery. The deadline to call in and/or email a request has been extended to Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Resident will need to provide their full name, phone number and address to be placed in the lottery.
On Thursday, December 13th, the 30 lucky names will be pulled and the winners will be announced. Each lucky plot winner will have until Thursday, December 20th to show proof of residency and pay for their 2018 plot assignment. Any plots not claimed will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.
We are very excited about the garden and look forward to having fresh fruits and vegetables grown in our City. The tentative date of the grand opening will be on Saturday, January 12th.
