JOIN US FOR THE COMMUNITY AREA WATCH MEETING ON APRIL 18TH
TO DISCUSS CRIME PREVENTION, COMMUNITY BEAUTIFICATION AND EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS
The City’s next Community Area Watch program is scheduled for Thursday, April 18th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Los Angeles Evergreen Baptist Church, 1255 San Gabriel Boulevard, Rosemead.
To best serve residents, the City has been divided into nine (9) community areas with a meeting being hosted in each area once during the calendar year. The April 18th meeting serves Area 9 (for all residents residing south of Rush Street in the City of Rosemead).
The purpose of the Community Area meeting is to:
• Educate the community;
• Provide crime statistics and crime trends in the community;
• Share information on personal safety, securing your property, and to help prevent you from becoming a victim to a vehicle or home burglary; and
• Discuss the importance of Emergency Preparedness and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and much more.
Dinner and raffles will be provided for participants. The City of Rosemead Public Safety Department strives to make Rosemead a safer place to live, work, shop and recreate. You can help!
