JOIN US FOR THE COMMUNITY AREA WATCH MEETING ON JULY 18TH
TO DISCUSS CRIME PREVENTION, COMMUNITY BEAUTIFICATION AND EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS
The City of Rosemead’s next Community Area Watch program is scheduled for Thursday, July 18th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Willard Elementary School, 3152 N. Willard Avenue, Rosemead.
To best serve residents, the City has been divided into nine (9) community areas with a meeting being hosted in each area once during the calendar year. The July 18th meeting serves Area 6 (for residents bound by San Gabriel Boulevard, Garvey Avenue, Rosemead Boulevard, and South of the I-10 Freeway). The purpose of the Community Area Watch meeting is to:
• Educate the community;
• Provide crime statistics and crime trends in the community;
• Share information on personal safety, securing your property, and to help prevent you from becoming victim to a vehicle or home burglary;
• Discuss the importance of Emergency Preparedness and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and much more.
Dinner and raffle prizes will be provided for participants. The City of Rosemead Public Safety Department strives to make Rosemead a safer place to live. You can help!
