Rosemead 60th Anniversary Celebration

CHEERS TO 60 YEARS:
ROSEMEAD CELEBRATES ITS ANNIVERSARY WITH A BIRTHDAY BASH!
Be a part of history and join us in celebrating Rosemead’s 60th Anniversary on August 24, 2019. The celebration will be held along Valley Boulevard between Muscatel Avenue and Ivar Avenue beginning at 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. This special year will be commemorated with a time capsule ceremony, which will include keepsakes marking Rosemead’s milestone and will be opened on the City’s 100th Anniversary. The ceremony will be held at 5:00 p.m. at the Civic Center Plaza - 8838 E. Valley Boulevard, Rosemead, CA. The festivities will include a Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest with prizes being awarded for first place, $200, and second place, $100. To register for the contest visit www.cityofrosemead.org or pick up an application at the Rosemead Community Center - 3936 N. Muscatel Avenue, Rosemead, CA. The festivities will also include activities, carnival rides and attractions, live entertainment and food vendors. All day use wristbands for the carnival rides can be purchased for $5.00 at the event.
