11th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Dinner with Santa
With cheer and glee, the City of Rosemead announces the 11th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Dinner with Santa to be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the Civic Center Plaza (8838 East Valley Blvd.) from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Experience the magic of the holidays with a spectacular tree lighting featuring community performers and Christmas carolers. The Tree Lighting Ceremony begins at 6:00 p.m. and will culminate with a special treat for those in attendance.
Immediately following the ceremony, we invite the community to warm up with a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy various family friendly activities. Enjoy a train ride, play on a frosty snow slide area, partake in festive arts and crafts or delight in the indoor movie featuring the grumpy Mr. Grinch (The Grinch). Santa will be present for photo opportunities at no charge from 7:15 p.m.– 8:30 p.m. All participants must bring their own camera.
Additionally, all are welcome to attend the special dinner with Santa (tickets required at $5 per person) for a jolly time. Purchase tickets before they are sold out! Tickets can be purchased at the Rosemead Community Center (3936 N. Muscatel Ave.) or the Garvey Community Center (9108 Garvey Ave.), Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Dinner with Santa is held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
