JOIN US FOR THE COMMUNITY AREA WATCH MEETING ON FEBRUARY 20TH TO DISCUSS CRIME PREVENTION, COMMUNITY BEAUTIFICATION AND EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS
The City of Rosemead, Community Area Watch program is scheduled for Thursday, February 20th, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Muscatel Middle School Cafeteria, 4201 Ivar Avenue, Rosemead.
To best serve residents, the City has been divided into nine (9) community areas with a meeting being hosted in each area once during the calendar year. The February 20th meeting serves Area 1 (for all residents bound by Rosemead Boulevard, Valley Boulevard, Rubio Wash, and Union Pacific Rail Road Lines). The purpose of the Community Area meeting is to:
• Provide information on City services;
• Provide crime statistics and crime trends in the community;
• Share information on personal safety, securing your property, and to help prevent you from becoming a victim to a vehicle or home burglary;
• Neighborhood Coyote Program; and
• Discuss the importance of Emergency Preparedness and the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and much more.
