City of Rosemead Names New Finance Director – Bryan Ortega Chua
City Manager Ben Kim is pleased to announce and welcome Bryan Ortega Chua as the new Director of Finance for Rosemead.
Bryan comes to Rosemead following over 14 years of financial experience in governmental accounting, auditing, and budgeting. Bryan recently served as the Budget Manager for the City of Fairfield. With his extensive background and experience in finance, Bryan has held roles in several organizations in the public sector. Bryan’s extensive experience includes a broad range of financial experience including audit, labor negotiations, preparing financial reports, governmental fund analysis, and annual budget preparation.
Bryan is originally local to the San Gabriel Valley, having grown up in Baldwin Park, where his family still resides. “I am excited to be back to the San Gabriel Valley and serving the community,” Bryan said.
In his new role, Bryan will oversee the Finance Department’s overall budget, financial reporting, day-to-day functions, and related operations. Bryan received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration emphasis on Accounting/Economics from California State University of Los Angeles. He is happily married to his wife Diana and has a son, Clark. We welcome Bryan to the Rosemead Family!
