Rosemead Seeks Community Input on HOME-ARP Funding

The City of Rosemead is conducting a virtual community meeting on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at 7:00 PM to seek community feedback on HOME-ARP funding. Rosemead is eligible to receive an allocation from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for HOME Investment Partnerships Program-American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) funding in the amount of $1,222,084 to address homelessness and increase housing opportunities in Rosemead.

The federal HOME-ARP program provides a total of $5 billion to eligible communities to assist individuals or households who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, and other vulnerable populations. It is funded through the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act. The funding can be used to provide housing, rental assistance, non-congregate shelter, and/or supportive services.

In order to receive these important funds, the City is required to conduct stakeholder and community outreach to solicit feedback on a proposed allocation plan. Therefore, we are cordially inviting the Rosemead community to provide the City with perspectives on eligible needs across our City. Your feedback, along with collected data and other stakeholder outreach, will assist in making decisions about how HOME-ARP funds will be used. Here’s how you can help!

HOME-ARP Rosemead Community Virtual Meeting
