CITY OF ROSEMEAD SEPTEMBER 11, 2023,
AT THE CIVIC CENTER MEMORIAL
The City of Rosemead will commemorate the events of September 11, 2001, at its annual Remembrance Ceremony on Monday, September 11, 2023. This significant event will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will take place adjacent to the September 11th Memorial in the heart of the Civic Center Plaza at 8838 E. Valley Boulevard.
The program will include a flag-raising ceremony, symbolizing unity and strength, and a wreath-laying ceremony to remember and honor the heroes and victims of that fateful day. Additionally, there will be a touching parade of state flags, representing the diversity and resilience of our great nation.
This event is free and open to the public, and we encourage everyone to join us in remembrance and solidarity. Light refreshments will be served as we gather to reflect on the significance of September 11th and the importance of unity in our community.
For more information about the September 11th Remembrance Ceremony, please contact the Rosemead Parks and Recreation Department at (626) 569-2160.
