We invite you to honor a remarkable senior who, after retirement, continues to make a meaningful impact through dedicated service to others and their community.
To be eligible, nominees must be 60 years or older, a resident of Rosemead, and have actively contributed through volunteer work in the Rosemead Community. Selected individuals will be recognized by the Rosemead
City Council and the LA County Commission of Older Adults and celebrated at the Salute to Seniors Luncheon. Nominations open on February 3, 2025, and close on March 27, 2025.

Rosemead's 2023 Outstanding Older American
Congratulations to Hang Chi Fung for being recognized as the City of Rosemead's Outstanding Older American of the Year. Mr. Fung is a volunteer at the Garvey Community Center where he assist with translation and communication for senior participants at the Garvey Center. He enjoys working with people and is a reliable resource to many that frequent the program. He is compassionate and openly welcomes others and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Congratulations Mr. Fung for the City of Rosemead's 2023 Outstanding Older American of the Year!
